'Actually hideous': Teams let rip during Open for Inspections as Steph and Gian question Neale Whitaker's first 10 of the season

Another week, another explosive Open for Inspections on The Block – and you can catch all of the action in the video above.

This week our teams were rocking over to each other's houses to inspect their living and dining rooms.

Leah and Ash came out on top with 29 points and the first 10 of the season, Eliza and Liberty were runners-up, Kristy and Brett and Steph and Gian came in joint third while Kyle and Leslie's "tiny" space left them in last place.

Upon inspecting Kyle and Leslie's space in House 1, Kristy commented: "Is that half a couch? A curve just for the hell of it, is that what we're doing here?"

"They're safe all the time, they need to just go hard with something," Leah said. "Take a risk! They're going to have to get rid of that table..."

Yep, the bespoke Christian Cole table that Kyle and Leslie love so much. We don't think they'll take that comment too well...

On to House 5, Eliza and Liberty's place. The girls struggled massively and didn't think they'd even finish, but managed to pull off an exceptional living and dining space that the judges loved.

"Seriously they blow me away, how they just... when you see them in the state that they're in, this is awesome," Leslie said.

But Kristy was quick to comment: "Hold on, wait a minute. How come they didn't get reamed for their placement of a small rug. A square, a circle, a rectangle..."

"This looks cheap, with everything that looks classy over there," Brett added.

"I can't really fault this one, it's beautiful," Leah said about Kristy and Brett's space.

But it was a different story in Steph and Gian's home, with Leah saying: "Wow, OK. We've got bamboo. That's actually hideous."

She then exclaimed in disbelief: "Oh my God, we've got 17 pots in one room!"

In Leah and Ash's winning room, Leslie gushed: "I literally feel like we've checked into a hotel in Coachella!"

But Steph and Gian had some harsh words to say about the "cold" space, and questioned why it deserved the first 10 of the season from Neale Whitaker.
