'Horrendous': Leah slams House 1's backyard following their fallout during Open For Inspections

With the official Block Auction edging closer and closer, it's more important than ever for the teams to keep a close eye on the competition.

Open For Inspections couldn't have come at a better time, and this week the contestants were checking out each other's backyards – a big ticket item when it comes to the sale of their homes.

Steph and Gian's winning backyard impressed their fellow Blockheads earning accolades like "tranquil" and "oasis".

But House 4 didn't have the same influence on Brett.

"I'm kind of not blown away by it," he admitted.

While Brett couldn't deny the high quality finish of Steph and Gian's backyard, he expected more considering the pair's astronomical budget.

Steph and Gian had such a big budget that they had spare to buy a sauna for their yard – something the other contestants were in awe of.

"This is stunning, they should've got 10s on this alone," Leslie said.

Despite having a tumultuous week with neighbours Leah and Ash, Kyle and Leslie still had compliments for House 2.

"I don't know why House 2 was worried about the grass on the other side of the fence, they obviously had a great idea and it was execute well," Leslie admitted.

"They've got a fantastic backyard," Kyle added before Leslie cut him off, "OK – that's enough of the compliments".

Leah and Ash weren't as generous with their feedback of Kyle and Leslie's place.

"Can't say I'm loving it," Leah began.

"The grass is horrendous."
