Exclusive: The teams reveal what they really think of Marty Fox’s brutally honest feedback
A savvy real estate eye giving them invaluable advice every week sounded like a perfect addition to this year’s season of The Block.

And for viewers, it has been. Real estate mogul Marty Fox’s relentless focus on what buyers want and how marketable the houses are means he is not afraid to lean into very honest criticisms when he feels the Blockheads miss the mark.
But that often brutal feedback has hit some of this year’s contestants hard.
After being on the receiving end for several weeks – including one memorable in-person live judging– the Block contestants have landed on some strong opinions about Mr Fox.
In an exclusive interview with 9Entertainment, the Blockheads opened up about how they really feel about Marty and what it's felt like to be on the receiving end of harsh feedback after a long, tiring week of renovations.

“There were weeks we got crucified by him,” Liberty admitted.
“Marty wasn’t shy in letting you know what he felt,” Kyle added.

Steph and Gian said they always took Marty’s criticism extremely seriously, because they were always focused on delivering a cohesive result that will sell.
But even if his feedback was constructive, some Blockheads found it tough to swallow.
“I think a lot of the comments were very hard for us to hear,” shared Ash.
