'Are you joking?': Liberty calls out Eliza for her 'three-hour' manicure while she spends hours painting the walls The Block 2023

We know how much Eliza and Liberty love – OK, loathe – painting.

With a mammoth kitchen and laundry to deliver, there's plenty of painting to be done this week.

"Not only do we have a kitchen, but laundry, panty, walk-in linen closet..." Liberty listed to cameras. "I was painting on my lonesome."

Eliza, however, was doing her own type of painting and Liberty was not too pleased.

"Do you want to explain where you were?" Liberty asked her sister.

"I went to get my nails done because it was actually a health hazard at this point," said Eliza to cameras.

With her fingers covered in dry paint, a happy Eliza was seen waltzing into the salon. "Look how bad that is," she said to the nail technician.

Hmm... not as bad as Liberty's face during Living and Dining Week.

Eliza justified the reason behind her "much-needed" trip.

"There's a lot of layers and dead skin, paint and blisters..." she said.

"I'm not even joking when I say things were growing into things and it genuinely needed to be addressed."

Err... a little too much information, Eliza.

Feeling like a queen, the sister added, "This is what my life is meant to be. Lib was given the option of attending but she chose not to out of spite."

Liberty said otherwise. "It's the most important week on The Block for us, there needed to be one person on site," she said.

So while Eliza was gone "for three or four hours", Liberty was painting the walls.

"Are you having a laugh?" said Eliza, to which her sister replied, "Are you joking, you were literally gone for three hours."
