Exclusive: Ronnie and Georgia react to their 'absolutely incredible' auction result

As returning All Stars to this season of The Block, Ronnie and Georgia knew all too well the nerve-wracking experience that is auction day.

But thankfully this time their auction didn't end in tears and their home being passed in. They walked away with $296,000 in profit money when House 1 sold for $3,696,000.

"We won just shy of $300,000," an elated Ronnie told 9Entertainment straight after the auction.

"I don't even know how much we won, how much did we win? I think it was $296,000," Georgia added.

Ronnie said the result is "huge — that's three months' worth of work". He used his maths skills to quickly work out "it's shy of $24,000 a week — which is massive, absolutely incredible".

As the team who won the most points from Room Reveals across the season, and therefore the Domain Super Power, Ronnie and Georgia were the ones who chose the auction order. They decided to go first and had the rest of the houses go under the hammer in their house number order.

While they were not directly involved in the cheating scandal about the production photo schedule that plagued most of the season, Ronnie alluded to it when asked whether they had any regrets about their experience.

"I've got zero regrets about my experience, absolutely not. We've played with integrity, we spoke about the house that we wanted to build and I think we built it," Ronnie said. "And we sold it!"

The Perth parents said they'll use the money to pay off some bills and do an extension on their home.

"Look, it's huge, I mean $300,000 tax-free is gonna go a long way," Ronnie said.
