Exclusive: Josh and Luke reveal how they'll be spending their massive profit from The Block's auction day

They stepped onto Bronte Court as rookie renovators and were known as the twins from Love Island, but through this season Josh and Luke proved they had what it takes to conquer The Block.

One thing was clear from day one: they had a vision for House 4 they were going to stick with right until the end, and it paid off.

Josh and Luke walked away with a profit of $530,000 and already have some plans for how it's going to be spent.

"We will be splitting it," Josh confirmed in an exclusive interview with 9Entertainment.

"We're gonna split it, but we're looking to do a business together so we're gonna try and have a bit of a pool there and take the rest ourselves," Luke added. "So we're gonna try and make that into some more hopefully."

The twins are absolutely over the moon with the result, especially after the — at times brutal — feedback they've received from the judges throughout the season.

"It's life-changing, you know," Josh said. "It's been a tough journey, but it's all worth it now."

Luke added the auction was a "rollercoaster of emotions" and both were blown away by what actually happened as the bidding started.

"It kind of took me 10 seconds to sort of take in what had happened," Josh said.

"I couldn't really react because it all happened so quick, it went three, four, five, six, seven, and then we were trying to figure out what are we up to, but at the end of the day it's all a blur now."

When it comes to regrets from the show, they don't have many, although Josh admitted there was one thing they would change.

"We came in here prepared to take risks to try to take the ultimate reward and we've got an amazing reward, so we definitely wouldn't change the build," he said.

"But maybe our behaviour and reactions to some things. But it meant so much for us to be here, we were here to give it our all and we did. We wear our heart on our sleeves."

Their build proved to be controversial with countless trips to council to get new plans approved, and going against advice from Block architect Julian Brenchley.
