Harry and Tash reveal what's next for them after the sale of their Block home

Victorian dad-and-daughter team Harry and Tash had their fair share of ups and downs on The Block, but pushed through to the end, even with a dwindling budget.

On auction day the pair were last to go under the hammer and are absolutely "over the moon" with the result.

"We are absolutely over the moon," the pair told 9Entertainment in unison.

"It's just beyond what we even thought this morning, beyond," Tash added.

Harry added, "It's more than what I was expecting, I'll be honest, it definitely was."

During the auction, there was a lot going through both of their heads, especially because House 1 was last up.

"Oh god, you get to the last [auction] and you go this person's not there anymore, or this person's not there anymore," Tash said.

"But watching Danny Wallis, he attended all the auctions and just watching him take off the bidding like that, just was like, oh my god what an incredible man.

"Like he's just changed our lives, it's incredible."

After seeing every other team go to auction before them, Harry said that Danny has changed more lives than just theirs today.

"Talking to the other contestants, he's changed their lives, he's paid off their mortgage, which I think is amazing," Harry said.

"They're all in their thirties and what a great start they've got going forward, they can raise their kids and don't have to worry about the debt that they had… life changing."

The goal that Harry and Tash had was to be able to walk away from the show with enough money for a house deposit for her and her boyfriend Brad.

"Next up for me, is buying a house," Tash laughed. "I can't believe I'm actually saying that."

"We wanted to buy a house, and this has done that for us — amazing — so, yep, I'm just so happy."

An emotional Tash went on to praise her dad for what he's done for their family.

"I can't thank this man enough for what he's done for me and my brother," she said.

It was hearing those words from his daughter that pushed Harry to tears himself, and you can watch their emotional moment in full in the video above.

Harry and Tash renovated House 1 and the reserve price on it was set at $3,350,000. Despite going last on the day, they came away with an incredible result, with a sale price of $4m on the dot.

That gives the pair a total profit of $650,000, which they will split.
