'Challenging': MAFS' Ryan Gallagher makes candid admission about early fatherhood in TV interview
Married At First Sight's Ryan Gallagher is adjusting to life since becoming a first-time father.
The 35-year-old and his Olympic swimmer fiancée Emily Seebohm welcomed a baby boy named Sampson in September 2023.

This week he spoke to TODAY Extra hosts David Campbell and Belinda Russell to share an update on his new life as a father.
"It's good, it's a bit of a lifestyle change which obviously means no sleep," Ryan said pointing to his dishevelled hair.

"The sleep part and working a nine-to-five job is challenging," he added.
Ryan is pulling up his sleeves, telling David and Belinda he's been on nappy-changing duty and "hasn't gagged once", although he laughed that Sampson has peed on him more than a few times.

Ryan dished on his new life as a dad. Nine
David also touched on Emily's struggles adjusting to her pregnant body, although Ryan just put that down to the Olympian being "too hard on herself".
"Emily had the strongest stomach muscles from swimming and she didn't even start to show until about eight months," Ryan explained.
"But she looks great and there's no problem there."

Ryan and Emily have been enjoying their first weeks of parenthood, taking to social media to share some snippets of the journey.
"The last 10 days have have been the best of my life to date, Sampson Ryan Seebohm has changed our lives and we bloody love him he's perfect," Ryan wrote.

The couple announced their pregnancy back in July with a sweet video.
"We've had a little bump in the road," Emily captioned a clip of the pair on a beach.
And in September, the couple confirmed they were expecting a baby boy with another video announcement.
The black-and-white video switched into colour as Emily dove into the pool and revealed she was wearing a blue bikini – indicating they were expecting a baby boy.
It's been a big year for the couple.
The pair got engaged in December 2022, four months after they began dating, although they didn't announce their engagement until March this year.
Ryan proposed to Emily at a dam on his farm just outside of Goulburn in NSW.

He popped the question with a trilogy diamond ring that features two smaller diamonds that symbolise Emily and himself while the larger central diamond represents their love.
"I did get nervous. The [ring] box was making a bit of a bulge in my pocket. So either she knew I was proposing or she just thought I was happy to see her," Ryan told Woman's Day.
