'Hadn't slept for a week': MAFS' Jules Robinson reveals pre-nuptial 'meltdown' as she and husband Cam Merchant relive their TV wedding
It's been seven years since Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant met at the altar and tied the knot on Married At First Sight.
To celebrate their anniversary, the golden couple watched their MAFS wedding with sons Ollie, 4, and Carter, 1.
There were tears, laughs, some curly questions from Ollie and a surprise "meltdown" as Jules and Cam relived "the biggest day of their lives".

The family of four watched as footage played of a single Jules getting ready to walk down the aisle to her mystery husband.
Cam noticed Jules having a bit of a "meltdown" in the lead up to their meeting.
"Oh if I'd seen this beforehand..." Cam joked.
Jules admitted her nerves were at an all time high in the build up to their MAFS wedding.
"I hadn't slept for a week!" she revealed to Cam.

Jules, 43, reflected on the special moment and how far her and Cam had come in an emotional Instagram caption:
"The moment Ollie was born I looked forward to this moment. 🥰 Getting to show him how we met, the commentary though😂 Daddy why are you so small? and mummy your face is different 😂

"Even though we were chosen for each other we continue choosing each other, every single day, through the highs, the lows, the ordinary in-betweens. You are my best friend, my safe place, and the person who makes life feel lighter when it feels heavy.

Jules and Cam's love story began when they met and tied the knot on Season 6 of Married At First Sight. The season was filmed in 2018 and aired in 2019.
They were regarded by fans as the least drama-fuelled couple, and were seemingly there for all the 'right reasons': namely, to find love.
And find love they did!

Cam proposes to Jules during MAFS Final Vows – December 2018

Cam made MAFS history when he got down on one knee and asked Jules to marry him during their Final Vows.
"The moment you fall more in love than you thought you could fall and every little part of you says YES! I have nothing but love for this man," Jules said in an Instagram post about the moment.
That of course meant a real wedding was on the cards...
Jules and Cam get (legally) married – November 2019
Jules and Cam's real wedding dreams came true when they tied the knot on November 17 2019 in Sydney. The ceremony and reception were held at the Beta Bar in the city.
The wedding was featured on a special episode of A Current Affair.
It was a joyous, lavish event and they were surrounded by 170 of their loved ones. Cam also revealed one wedding highlight that differentiated it from their MAFS wedding.
"Missed this part on our first wedding... Let's make it offical [sic] shall we," he wrote to caption a photo of him signing his wedding certificate.
Jules and Cam welcome baby Ollie – September 2020
On October 3, 2020 Cam and Jules announced the birth of their first child, baby boy Oliver Chase Merchant, in a post on Instagram.
In an interview with Who magazine Jules confirmed Oliver was born on September 29 — sharing the same birthday as her father — and weighed 2.85kg.
Jules gives birth to their second son Carter – July 2024
In July 2024, Jules and Cam welcomed their second child!
The couple announced the birth of a beautiful baby boy and his sweet name in a post on Instagram
"Carter James Merchant ❤️. You are just perfection. We have a beautiful healthy boy!! 23/7/24."
Jules became a mum of two boys when baby Carter entered the world. Instagram
Jules detailed the special meaning behind their youngest son's name.
"CARTER* Carter holds spiritual significance by embodying leadership, wisdom, responsibility, and creativity, representing service, ideals, and community spirit," she explained.
"* Individuals named Carter are commonly seen as hardworking, loyal, disciplined, and protective, valuing security and nurturing close relationships* historical association with transporting goods."
Carter's middle name James means "gift from god" and is a tribute to many of Cam and Jules' close family and friends.

"[James is] also one of Cam's (many 😂) middle names, Cam's Grandfather's name, my father's middle name and my oldest dear friend @jrcleland who left us to soon..." Jules wrote.
