Married At First Sight's Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Sobinoff has taken to Instagram to share her "bad experience" at a recent health checkup.

She geared her followers up for "a bit of a rant and rave" but one she says was completely "valid".

"I was crossing off the list of doing the things that we all should do which is get our skin checked," she began.

Lizzie said that she got a bad feeling about doctor when she told him about her existing photosensitive psoriasis, but he insisted that the condition is not photosensitive.

In the past the reality star has been very open about her struggle with the autoimmune disease and admitted she'd "been through hell and back".

"That kind of put me off but I thought no maybe I'm just being a little bit sensitive and sometimes doctors don't have any bedside manner," she explained.

Although she tried to give the doctor the benefit of the doubt she found him "really unprofessional" when he began to comment on her tattoos during the routine check.

But Lizzie only felt more uncomfortable when the doctor suggested taking a biopsy on one mole and said that "it actually looks like melanoma".

The former bride was clearly shaken up and "stressed out" by the doctor's visit and wrote alongside the video to further explain her feelings.

"Unless a dr is 100% certain I don't think they should tell you what they 'think' is wrong. Especially when it comes to things like melanoma," she said.

"He could of said there was an area of concern and a biopsy is best needed to determine what it is."

"In saying this though it is so important to get checked! I just had a bad experience."

Despite the doctor's initial concerns, Lizzie's results all came back clear.

In the comment section, many followers agreed that the doctor was "very unprofessional".

"Don't go back to him again!" one fan said.

"Ughhhh so cringe," wrote another.

Many shared their own similar experiences with health professionals and suggested Lizzie make a formal complaint.

Others shared their thoughts that the doctor may have commented on Lizzie's tattoos because they "make it more difficult to complete a skin assessment".

As for the doctor's comments about testing for a melanoma one follower said: "Having worked in skin clinics for a few years now doctors are meant to tell you what they are testing for."

But they agreed that the doctor should have been more professional in their delivery.
