MAFS' Elizabeth Sobinoff opens up about health struggles after endometriosis diagnosis
Married At First Sight's Elizabeth Sobinoff has shared a candid post, revealing her recent health struggles.
Lizzie has endometriosis and wanted to bring awareness to her diagnosis and the side effects she's still getting used to in a raw Instagram post.

"IMPORTANT — NOT PREGNANT!!! This is endo-belly," she captioned a mirror selfie of her stomach.

"After being diagnosed with endometriosis this year, a lot of my questions have been answered… Especially why my belly would swell like this.. I'm still learning."
Lizzie's followers praised her for sharing the raw post and shared plenty of support in the comments.
The 30-year-old told her followers she had been diagnosed with "endometriosis, ovarian cysts and bowel adhesions" in February 2021 after months of trying to figure out what was wrong.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the bride revealed she underwent surgery to get some "underlying health issues" sorted, after being misdiagnosed for a decade.
"I started trying to figure it all out last year (many posts throughout my feed last year talking about my anxiety about this, the reel with the chilly dips trying to refocus) after delaying it for quite a while due to my fear of doctors," she revealed.
She said her fear of doctors stemmed from a "misdiagnosis" which consumed a "decade of her life" and left her on a disability pension.
"I had every right to be fearful, but that's another issue... Last year I was told I most likely had Crohn's disease / inflammatory bowel disease. It's nice to finally have some answers," she said.
Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb starts to grow in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes.

It's not the first time the bride has opened up about her health struggles.

She recently posted a video to Instagram where she raised her hair, showing off her scalp underneath and around her ears, where in areas her skin was red and at times flaking.
Lizzie told followers she suffers from Lupus and her photosensitive scalp is a related health condition.
