Watch: Al Perkins reveals his nerves ahead of Love Island Australia during a catch-up with Domenica Calarco

During his time on Married At First Sight, Al Perkins was mates with pretty much everyone and the life of every Dinner Party. Despite his positive time on the show, he didn't find love, although he hasn't given up hope.

The lovable groom has been busy since leaving the experiment and is about to embark on an exciting new adventure, which he spilled on during a chat with Domenica Calarco for the exclusive series Dom's Debrief.

"I am really excited to go into the Love Island Villa, can't wait to see all these beautiful chicks," he said.

Al admitted he is a little bit nervous about heading into the Villa as a bomb and what it's going to mean for gelling with the group.

Dom was also keen to know about Al's MAFS highlights and he had a couple that stood out in particular.

As for anything he would have done differently in the experiment, there was nothing – but he made a surprising confession about what he's learnt about love.
