Watch: X-rated joked about family member causes carnage during Bec and Danny's Homestays on MAFS 2026

Danny may be guilty of a "bad joke" but his latest comment saw furious wife Danny storm out on Married At First Sight.
Bec was hoping for an 'I love you' during Homestays, but instead Danny cracked an inappopriate joke about Bec's cousin, that even Bec thought was too far.

Danny got grilled. Nine
For Homestays Week, Bec and Danny touched down in Bec's hometown in Adelaide. He met with her family, everything went great.
"All I need is for Danny to tell me he loves me," she smiled to cameras.
Could tonight be the night?
Bec and Danny were alone under the stars. The fire was crackling and Bec felt like the "luckiest girl".
She told Danny that he gives her family a "sense of comfort and stability" and they didn't even need to interrogate him. Then Danny replied.
"I think obviously 'cause [your cousin] Danielle fancied me, she didn't wanna..." he laughed.
Yep, moment ruined, but it got much, much worse.

The single comment left Bec seeing red but Danny was more worried about how he'd be perceived than her feelings.
"Who's gonna get crucified in the edit? Thanks Bec, really, thanks for that, over a joke" Danny reacted. "There's a camera in my face and you're abusing me over a joke."

But the fact she couldn't have a serious conversation with Danny, in Bec's eyes this "poorly timed joke" was worse.
"You should be able to say something nice and be genuine about it, and then not say 'oh your cousin wants to f--k me," she scolded at him.
"I never said that," Danny replied. "Don't put words in my mouth."
Bec was not having it. Nine

"It's a defence mechanism," Bec vented to cameras. "He wants to throw in a joke and make a mockery of the situation and it pi--es me off."
"I'm done," Bec declared before walking off.
