From Adelaide to the Gold Coast, the couples headed to the destination where they plan to live beyond MAFS.
But not everyone was happy about their potential future home...
Alissa and David | Adelaide
Brisbane-based David and wife Alissa arrived in her hometown of Adelaide where David was met with a very special greeting at the airport... A giant welcome sign with Alissa!
"I didn't realise how big of a deal Alissa was," said a stunned David.
"Is that my wife, literally the face of Adelaide airport?"

From the airport, the two drove to Alissa's home, a sweet brick house surrounded by a lush front garden.
"I live a very busy life, from nursing, to all my client meetings, campaigns, deliverables…" she said.

Inside, David made himself at home and bee-lined straight for Alissa's comfy lounge.
"This is bigger than our apartment in Sydney," he said. "Lots of room for extra kids."
Despite Alissa's clear connection to her hometown, the couple have no plans to move to Adelaide. They plan to meet in the middle in Sydney for a few years before relocating back.
But this worried David...

"Our whole relationship is hanging on the fact Alissa wants to start a family in Adelaide," David shared.
"If I can't see myself being here, there's no point leaving everything I've built in Brisbane to go on this journey."
Bec and Danny | Adelaide
Melbourne-based Danny also joined his wife in Adelaide.
The two stayed in Bec's light-brick home where they faced their first test of Homestays, meeting Bec's other great love.

Heading into the living room, Danny sat down on "the comfiest couch in the world".

Outside, Bec showed off her backyard garden with plenty of lawn space for Coco to run around.
"Now he can hopefully fall in love with what his life could look like here," she smiled.
