The aim of Confessions Week is to strip down any barriers between the couples and forge deeper emotional connections that would normally take months or years in the outside world.
For some, that was achieved. For others, the "brutal" truth cut deeper.
This year, a new task was introduced – the Ex-files and it's as testing as it sounds.
Scroll through for the biggest moments from the week...
Awhina and Adrian open old wounds
Watching Adrian's audition video opened up old wounds for Awhina, as he mentioned being ready to be a dad.
"I never said I wasn't ready to be a dad," he defended. "I didn't say I wanted to be someone else's dad."
Awhina was offended by Adrian's choice of wording.

"Because I am a mum, you're not actually open to even letting me in, really," she began. "The language you're using now is very definite, final."
She also felt like they wouldn't ever be able to get past this.
"Why are you still here? Because you don't want someone with children," she argued.

Adrian insisted Awhina "ticks eight out of 10 boxes" so he was trying to keep an open mind and stick around.
Awhina was left in tears.
Jamie and Dave reach a relationship milestone
Well well well.
While Confessions Week caused cracks in some couples' relationships, for Jamie and Dave it brought them closer together.
They confirmed they'd consummated their marriage, and neither could wipe the smiles of their faces as they told cameras... well, Jamie did.
Jamie and Dave reach a relationship milestone
"Dave and I consummated the marriage. There was lots of love making. A few times," she giggled to cameras.
"I was a bit concerned as he's a tall man, I'm a short girl and the dimensions to me weren't making sense.
"It is what they say – you are the same height laying down. Dave and I are very sexually compatible."
She said she woke up feeling like "dopamine is shooting out of [her] arse," which is quite the statement.
Jake's Photo Ranking comments horrifies wife Ashleigh
Ashleigh and Jake's relationship got off to a flying start, but the Photo Ranking Challenge saw everything come crashing down.
"I'll just try to be as honest and truthful as possible here," Jake said to his wife before a string of horrible comments about the other brides.
"I'm not vibing Jacqui, maybe [it's] the crazy eyes, I don't know," he said, as he lay Jacqui's photo second to the bottom.
"Sierah... kind of like an intimidating look that she has to her, like her face screams 'I could stab you in your sleep'," he continued.
Privately to the camera, he said of Morena: "I'm sure she would have been absolutely stunning back in the day, and I'll still give her a fair crack. Don't put that in!"

His comments continued to horrify his wife, as he said of Awhina: "Not gonna sound like... not racist or nothing, but I do like Caucasian people mainly, mostly."
He claimed one bride "might have a lazy eye" and placed Carina, who is "conventionally pretty" top of his list, "but she knows it, let's be real".

Ashleigh was absolutely horrified.
"How dare you say these unhinged things about these gorgeous women?" she told cameras.
"It can be honest without being hurtful and nasty."
He then placed Ashleigh fourth, telling cameras: "Four is a good rating. I wouldn't conventionally go for someone that looks like that," he said rudely, before correcting himself: "...looks like her."

When she called him out on his comments, Jake insisted it was all "just a joke".
"That really pissed me off. I'm not a naturally vicious person and you're making it out to me like I am. I don't need that s--t," he said.
He then stormed out of the room, and declared he was "done".
