Lauren and Clint had quite the journey on Married At First Sight.

The couple wed after Lauren's marriage to Eliot imploded after just three days, and the experts decided to give her a second shot at love.

Lauren, a 37-year-old business owner, is fiercely independent with extremely high standards and hoped for a man that was instinctively masculine and chivalrous.

Clint is a 43-year-old pro-golfer and business owner from Tasmania, and was looking for love after his 10-year relationship ended.

Their journey started off well, but cracks soon began to show quite quickly.

Are Lauren and Clint still together?

No, Lauren and Clint are not still together.

While their wedding day was a huge success, things started to fall apart at the Couples Retreat when the couple began to isolate themselves from the group – mostly because Lauren couldn't stand their "boganic" ways.

They then boycotted the Dinner Party, and while they did unite together Lauren told cameras the spark just wasn't there for her.

Lauren and Clint have called it quits. Nine

During a tense Commitment Ceremony, both decided to 'leave' the experiment but said they were "interested" in seeing if they would work outside the MAFS environment.

But in his exit interview, Clint explained that it just wasn't meant to be.

It wasn't until he got home and had time to himself, he had quite the realisation.

"Reflecting on my time in the experiment and some of the behaviours that [Lauren] demonstrated, I was just like, 'You know what, I don't think this is my person'," he admitted.

"This is not someone I want to keep putting in, and doing everything I can, to make it work."

In his exit interview, Clint also opened up about being "isolated" from the rest of the group following the explosive final night of the Couples Retreat.

He reflected on the "terrible name calling" that happened and watching back, revealed the one thing he "absolutely regrets."

"I don't normally regret things in life, but that is definitely a situation I regret for sure," he confessed.
