Jack's home | Gold Coast

Tori and Jack flew north for their Homestay and quickly got settled into Jack's hometown in the Gold Coast.

"I love the Gold Coast it's just palm trees, sunshine beaches, relaxed vibes everyone's normally very happy around the Gold Coast," Jack appeared to read straight from a tourism brochure.

With Jack already telling Tori that he wouldn't consider moving to her hometown of Melbourne, Jack said Tori "will just have to accept it".

"But I just don't see how she won't like it," Jack shrugged.

Jack's one-way approach to moving definitely wasn't preferable but on the bright side the inside of Jack's apartment was pretty schmick.

"It's a nice new home," Tori said looking around.

With all sleek and modern furnishings it was hard to fault Jack's home.

And wow just look at that view!

Wouldn't be so bad waking up to that everyday would it Tori?

Now to Jack's other home – the gym.

Tori's first look into Jack's life outside of the experiment was a tough one: a 5am gym class.

"I hate PT Jack," she joked during the workout.

"I do like to let my clients know that this is my turf so you're going to do what I say," Jack claimed, before making Tori do more sets as punishment for giving him grief.

Looking around the gym we couldn't help but notice a portrait of Jack with a slightly different hair do.

Sara's home | Sydney

Sara and Tim spent their Homestays at Sara's Sydney apartment, which was simply decorated in whites and neutrals with a pop of greenery from her plants.

Tim was impressed too, describing it as a "sick little pad".

I don't think we would expect anything less from stylish Sara.

They were each excited about what this week could bring.

"This last week has been really good for us. Obviously everything aside, we're on a really good path right now," Sara said.

Tim agreed: "We have been making progress but trust is not something that is going to repair itself overnight.

"Hopefully this week we can start figuring out how we can move forward."

Sara's bedroom kept her neutral theme going, with an added pop of colour from her peach doona and of course, another plant.

Jade and Ridge also headed in the Gold Coast to stay at Jade's family home, where she lived with her mum, dad and brother.

For Jade, bringing a partner home was nerve racking.

"I don't really let people meet my family unless we're really, really serious," she explained.

"Anyone I bring into my life is going to be associated with my daughter so that makes it really important that Ridge handles it really well."

Jade, Ridge and her family celebrated with a traditional South African braai.

Jade's family backyard definitely had us feeling reminiscent of a few barbecue parties we've been too.

Inside, Jade debriefed with her sister and mother in the kitchen – which was the image of just about every Aussie kitchen.

Peep those cute fridge magnets!

The women of the family got to talking.

"I'm worried [for] after this," her mum admitted.

"We know when you get involved with somebody, Jade, and you really like them, you put everything into it and if it doesn't work out you're always the one that crumbles."

The kitchen is really where all the gossip and serious convos go down.

Timothy's home | Melbourne

After becoming one of the experiment's most beloved couples, Lucinda and Timothy jetted off to Melbourne to spend time at Timothy's place for Homestay Week.

Lucinda was thrilled about seeing what his life outside of the experiment was like, but she was quickly met with his rather messy apartment.

"Tim's home is not quite what I expected," Lucinda said, laughing.

"I don't know what to say. It's a real bachelor pad, this one. There's not much space, you can't really swing a cat – or swing a poodle – in there.

Timothy's apartment may be small, but he did manage to make space for an industrial photocopier in his lounge room.

The reason for the photocopier? It's best we let Timothy explain.

"Well, I got it on a lease and when I moved from my office I actually had two and I couldn't cancel the lease so I got the smallest one and this was it," he said.

So what exactly does Timothy use the office-sized photocopier for?

Well, not much apart from getting on the beers and photocopying....ummm parts of themselves, shall we say.

Timothy lifted the lid and revealed the glass had been cracked courtesy of a friend sitting on it.

Lucinda was in hysterics.

"It's very Tim," she giggled.
