Adam and Jolene share emotional reason $455k win has changed their lives forever

Exclusive: In the minutes after the hammer fell on House 1 – giving Adam and Jolene a mammoth profit of at least $455,000 – excitement turned to emotions.

In an exclusive post-auction chat with nine.com.au, Jolene became tearful as she explained what this mammoth win actually means to them.

“It was definitely going to mean that we didn’t have to go away and work remote again from our family, and this now gives us that bit of breathing space to be able to do that,” she said.

“Help my mum, and be there for our kids and our parents… this definitely frees us up for that.”

Adam was elated, saying he couldn’t wait to crack open a cold beer and spend time with family.

But there’s one thing in particular he can’t wait to buy with his funds – that is, if Jolene gives the thumbs up.

Adam and Jolene’s auction was quite the spectacle, with the couple going first in the order. Danny Wallis opened with a bid of $3,500,000.52, of course.

There was many a bid on the property, and eventually it sold for a whopping $3,905,000 – meaning they would away with just under half a million under their belts, at least.
