Exclusive: Lisa and Rosco’s Block auction had a special soundtrack: their newborn son, Jude.

The couple walked away with $550,000 in profit after House 3 sold for $4 million, but getting that result took an incredible amount of time (40 minutes!) and effort from their auctioneer, Mark Nunn.

“That auction was like something I’ve never seen before. We just kept thinking, ‘OK, it’s going to wrap up now’, and Mark just kept pulling more out of the big, it was like a magician,” Lisa said immediately after the hammer went down.

They watched the whole thing with Scott Cam and a special guest, newborn son Jude who was born just over a week ago on October 23.

“He was crying through the auction because he got so hungry, it took so long,” Lisa said.

They had thought, “we’ll get through our auction, then I’ll feed him”, she said with a laugh.

She and Rosco said their incredible result went way beyond their expectations.

They planned to use the money to help with their own home renovation.

“It’ll put on our family home and finish it off, we just couldn’t be more grateful to our real estate team, our build team and our family for making this all happen,” she said.

Rosco said the Block experience was “100 per cent worth it”.

“It’s been the absolute experience of a lifetime, we couldn’t be more thankful,” Lisa agreed.

Lisa and Rosco’s House 3 went under the hammer third in the auction order, and the incredible result may have all been thanks to their newborn.

Their agent even used baby Jude as leverage to keep things going.

Their unknown buyer, a blonde woman, even joked she would only make another bid if she could hold him – and she ultimately placed the winning $4 million bid.

We hope she enjoyed those baby cuddles!
