For some couples it's a chance to visualise what their relationship could like like in the real world and for others rose-tinted glasses are shattered as they see their partner in their most natural state.

Tori and Jack
Tori and Jack arrived in Jack's hometown in the Gold Coast but the bride's mind was elsewhere.
After a confronting couch session last Commitment Ceremony, Tori said: "I need to know in my heart of hearts how Jack feels about me because he told me he wouldn't move to Melbourne..."
Realising if they were to move forward, she said: "It's me that's sacrificing everything."

Tori also came face to face with Jack's nearest and dearest... clients including "straight shooter" Lizz.
Like it does in every conversation, it was brought up that Tori and Jack haven't had sex yet.
Lizz said it was a "major red flag" for her.
They then asked Tori if she was concerned that Jack has a lot of female friends. Tori said it was not a problem, in fact she had a lot of male friends.
"I've always been one of the boys," said Tori.

"When I come across with a girl that has a lot of guy friends it's usually because they're sleeping with all the boys," Lizz added.
But Tori reassured her she was not sleeping with anyone "in her friendship group".
Speaking to cameras, Lizz admitted she was "not a fan" of Tori. "Jack wants that fairytale, he wants that wife and I don't think Tori is that for him."
Ouch. Going back to their wedding day and Tori's vows, Lizz had one more thing to say.
"I got the impression you were basic," she said bluntly.
Tori was "pissed off".

Tori reassured Lizz she's far from basic, rather she was a "boss b--ch".
But the grilling didn't stop. Lizz suggested maybe they were trying to make it work for the wrong reasons.
"You've been single for a long time and Jack's got a six pack..." she said boldly.
Tori said her piece: "If it wasn't working, I would leave you respectfully and resume life on the outside."
Tori admitted she had a lot to think about.
"The only thing that really upset me was that Jack wasn't backing me up," she told cameras. "Jack's shown me a really sh--ty, ugly part of his life."

After that nightmare meet-up with Jack's friends, Tori had a lot to consider in her decision to move interstate for Jack or not.
But as the pair headed out for a fine dining dinner, things only got more tense as they discovered their plans for temporary long distance couldn't be more different.
Tori hoped to see Jack every weekend with the pair alternating travel.
While Jack had other ideas. Jack said there's no real need to see each other EVERY weekend.
"It's too much. It's just not practical," he huffed.
Tori was left worried that Jack's desire to be with her wasn't really there.

Jack admitted he was taken aback by Tori's hard line of questioning.
But not to worry, even though he had no plans for their future he did have a plan to smooth things over with Tori.
Jack gifted Tori a stunning diamond bracelet with the initial 'T'.
The bracelet paired with a surprise dessert and some sparklers at a fancy restaurant, was enough to make Tori's worries temporarily disappear.
Tori was absolutely smitten as she tried the bracelet on for size.

Homestays was finally over for Tori and Jack and with the romance turned right up it looked as if the couple might even seal the deal back at Jack's apartment.

Sara and Tim
This week, Tim moved into Sara's Sydney apartment.
"I feel like Homestays have come at a really good time," smiled Sara to cameras.
They met up with Sara's best friend Jackie and Tim's best friend Ben. Oooh we bet Sara's excited to see him again...
Sara resassured Ben they're in a good place, but then Tim opened his mouth.
"Then another storm came along," Tim announced.

"Let's rehash," said Ben. Oh let's.
Sara opened up about their rocky few weeks.
"I lied about where I was... but we've had a really good week," she concluded.
Ben was not impressed.
"Finding that out would have f--ked up Tim because of his past, it's a very sensitive issue," Ben admitted privately.
Tim said it was triggering before Sara shut him down.
"We're not rehashing," she declared but Ben continued with the hard-hitting questions and things got a little tense.
