Exclusive: Abby speaks out on MAFS' ex Harrison following her Bombshell arrival in the Love Island Villa 2023

Usually it's the Bombshells causing a stir, but Abby seemed to be the most shaken during her Love Island Australia arrival.

It wasn't long into Abby's first date that she found out that someone from her controversial past was waiting for her in the Villa – Kirra.

Abby and Kirra share a bizarre but dramatic connection.

Earlier this year, Abby was dating MAFS groom Harrison in the lead up to his on-screen wedding to Bronte who happens to be Islander Kirra's sister and also Reid's one-time hookup. Get the full rundown on how everyone is connected here.

Abby spoke exclusively to 9Entertainment about how she felt the moment she realised she'd be sharing a house with Kirra.

"I wasn't happy about it when I found out," Abby admitted.

"Then once I knew about it, I had a think and I was fine. It wasn't as big of a deal as I thought it was when I first found out, so walking into the Villa I felt fine," she said.

Even though Abby felt fine, the 23-year-old sensed that Kirra "wasn't very happy".

Abby thought Kirra's unhappiness was perhaps because she was missing a few pieces of the puzzle.

"Kirra didn't know that Bronte and I made up and were friends and that there was no beef between Bronte and I," Abby explained.

"She had no clue that me and her sister had spoken."

Abby wasn't worried about the other Islanders knowing about her reality TV past and didn't think it would effect her chance at success in the Villa.

"Lucinda had been on Love Island UK and no one seemed to mind about that, so I think the fact that I was on another show just went over everyone's heads. They thought about if for one second and then done," she said.

Abby hoped that this stint on reality TV would finally help her find a match.

"I'm obviously doing the show for myself and obviously, everyone knows what Harrison's like..."

"I don't know how to pick my men so I'm hoping Love Island will let me pick finally a nice guy and help steer me away from the 35-year-old narcissists."
