Water levels in the Love Island Australia Villa are at an all-time high, and it has nothing to do with the pool.

Shawnee is currently crying an entire ocean after Lachie announced he will be exploring a connection with Ava.

Nothing like a hug from Zel to make all your boy trouble go away.  Nine

Meanwhile, Nat has officially crowned herself the resident Villa therapist, smugly convinced her rock-solid bond with Jack makes her immune to heartbreak. Oh, Nat. Famous last words.

Over in triangle territory, Amanda’s head is thoroughly scrambled after Zel started cracking on with Layla.

Naturally, her chosen coping mechanism is to pull Jordan into the Villa photobooth for a steamy make-out session.

The pair foolishly believe their rendezvous will stay between them – conveniently forgetting they committed the crime inside a photobooth designed specifically to print photo evidence.

Jordan gets a head start on damage control by telling Layla, though he frames it as a “little kiss”. Not quite the full story there.

Layla even rewards his honesty with a kiss of her own – that is until she compares notes with Amanda and learns what really happened.

“He just said he had a little chat and a little kiss, not that it was passionate, not that it was spicy, not that they were doing all sorts of crazy things in the photobooth,” Layla fumes.

“I just feel disrespected by that.”

Taking matters into her own hands, Layla demands to see the hard copy evidence. The photos are damning, and Jordan is officially put on Villa probation.

Before anyone can catch their breath, a text sees the arrival of Bombshell Sammi: a former Miss New Zealand and literal real-life Barbie.

Even Nat breaks a sweat, admitting the Bombshell has “the smoothest, longest legs” and is her other half Jack’s absolute dream woman on paper.

Sammi claims she hasn’t kissed anyone in two years, but makes up for lost time by working her way through a buffet with every single blindfolded boy.

Naturally, Sammi snaps up Jack for a one-on-one date, leaving Nat desperately wishing she could pack Barbie back into her cardboard box.

Jack doesn’t do anything that will calm Nat’s nerves. Away on the date, he delivers the ultimate heart dagger: “Nat is no Barbie doll.” Ouch!

From there, Jack and Sammi get giddy over their mutual obsession with snacks, psychological thrillers, and small-town roots.

The chemistry boils over into another private kiss.

Nat won’t think this is a big deal, right? Nine

The pair stroll back into the Villa hand-in-hand, with Jack looking like he’s wiped Nat from his memory entirely.

As Nat holds back tears, Jack decides the comedic timing is ripe to announce he’s officially coupled up with Sammi. It’s a “joke,” but it goes down like a lead balloon.

Not happy Nat. Nine

The stunt leaves Nat completely gutted and ready for war.

“I’m not mad that Jack went on the date, I’m not mad that they walked in holding hands, I’m mad that when he saw me it was like I was f--king nobody.”
