Theo 'heartbroken' after sudden health issue sees him struck out of race on The Summit 2024

EXCLUSIVE: Theo was "absolutely gutted" when an unexpected health issue saw him suddenly removed from The Summit.

The stay-at-home dad was struck down in "excruciating pain" with what he suspected were kidney stones.

A visit from the doctor confirmed that was the case and Theo's dreams were shattered as the doctor decided it was best to take him off the mountain for a full assessment.

"This is not how I wanted to leave the game," Theo said.

Theo became tearful as he reflected on wanting his children Zoe and Alex to see him as a hero.

"I'm gutted that is absolutely heartbreaking," Theo said.

If he was given the opportunity to face The Summit again, Theo said he would just make sure he was "physically 100 percent because I would hate for my health to fail me again".
