Ava bursts into tears following group's savage blindside on The Summit 2024

EXCLUSIVE: Ava was left blindsided when she was savagely cut from The Summit during a challenge.

Earlier in the day, Sam and Taylor had been let in on a secret by the Mountains Keeper: the last person left behind at the waterfall challenge would be sent home from the mountain.

Taylor led the charge to eliminate Ava as one of the group's biggest strategic players.

When Ava finally thought it was her time to scale up the rock face of the waterfall the Mountains Keeper dropped her a brutal note: "The group has decided to cut you and your cash loose. Say goodbye to The Summit."

Ava burst into tears as the news broke. She spoke out following her ruthless elimination, you can listen to what she had to say in the video above.

"When I got left out of the obstacle, I thought it was a stroke of my bad luck on the day," Ava said.

"Taylor had power at the top of the obstacle and he made the decision to leave me behind and I should've carried the money that day."

Ava was crushed that she'd only placed eighth out of the 15 trekkers and revealed her regrets.

"I would've been less strategic and bonded with people more deeply and been more of a social player," she said.
