'Not many answers': Aussie runner Ebony Lane snubbed for 4x100m relay team in Paris
Australian sprinter Ebony Lane has revealed she has missed out on a place in the 4x100m relay in an emotional post on social media.
Australia had five runners lined up to compete in the event, meaning one would ultimately be denied selection.
Lane's omission from the final team in Paris confirms Ella Connolly, Kristie Edwards, Bree Masters and Aleksandra Stoilova will be the quartet to take to the track.

Earlier this year, Lane was part of the team that broke the Australian record in the 4x100m relay at the Sydney Track Classic in March.

That line-up also included young gun Torrie Lewis, as well as Masters and Connolly, who combined set a 42.94 time.
Lane took to social media to express her disappointment over the decision, which she said was made worse given she was part of the team that qualified.
"Sadly I was not selected to compete in the starting 4 for the 4x100m relay today," Lane said via Instagram.
"I feel I had done enough to be in that team with the season I had.
"Just missing a qualifying spot in the 100m at Olympics, third at nationals, second at Oceania champs, a part of the team that qualified the team for Olympics, and winning multiple races this year and then dropped from the relay with not many answers to why.
"I am fit, healthy and ready to go and I have worked extremely hard all year for this moment. I will continue to love and support the girls in the team through this experience.
"I have great people around me and thank you to everyone who has supported me in this journey so far. Bring on next year."
The first round of the women's 4x100m relay is slated to get underway at 7.10pm AEST at Stade de France.
