That’ll do from us. Australia finish in a strong position.
We’ll catch you next time.
That’s stumps
Australia finishes the day in front!
The lead is one solitary run with the score 4-330.
Josh Inglis will come back tomorrow hoping for a ton with 85 to his name. Alex Carey has 51.
We’re approaching stumps
We have around 20 minutes until stumps.
Earlier, Josh Inglis survived a review for lbw off Kagiso Rabada’s bowling. It was given not out but the South Africans thought they had him.
The replay showed it was going way over the stumps and the review was lost.
Australia is 4-298 and trail by 31.
Inglis reaches a milestone
Josh Inglis has moved to 50 off 76 balls.
What an important innings this has been with the game in the balance.
He was a late call-up too after Steve Smith’s injury.
Harmer looking very dangerous
This match is in a good spot here.
The day is starting to wind down and now Simon Harmer is well and truly in the match.
He’s had Alex Carey failing to get his reverse sweep going successfully and just beat Josh Inglis between bat and pad. Unfortunately for Harmer, it beat the stumps too.
Australia’s chase now under three figures
It’s been a patient and careful partnership from Alex Carey and Josh Inglis.
Australia now trails by 99 runs after a Josh Inglis shot went agonisingly close to point.
A life for Inglis.
Australia is 4-230.
Time for more cricket
We’re back from tea and Corbin Bosch is on the field.
That means Marco Jansen is off with a stomach issue. Could be a problem for South Africa.
We’re going to a break
This Test is in a brilliant spot. We have a match on our hands.
Right now Australia is 4-191 with Inglis on 5 and Carey has 1.
You get the feeling this innings will end up at around even, but who knows.
Now Green’s gone, Australia in trouble
The Proteas have struck twice!
Cameron Green is walking off after a brilliant 65 and Marco Jansen is turning it all around.
“This is a huge blow,” Simon Katich said on SuperSport.
Jansen went over the wicket and pushed the ball across Green. He edged it and Simon Harmer took the catch in the slips. Harmer certainly looked surprised too.
It’s 4-185. Big responsibility here for Josh Inglis and Alex Carey.
Has Renshaw survived again?
South Africa is up and about after a play and miss from Matt Renshaw off Marco Jansen’s bowling.
The Proteas are convinced he edged it but Renshaw stood his ground and it was given not out. They went straight upstairs.
The ultra edge shows Renshaw has hit it and he’s gone for 74!
That’s 100 Test wickets for Jansen.
We have a Test on our hands here!
Ultra edge for Matt Renshaw. SuperSport
