Wayde Egan has pushed his case for a callup to Laurie Daley's State of Origin team this season.

But the idea of taking on the Origin arena is not at the top of the star hooker's mind.

"No, not yet," Egan told Fox Sports when asked if Daley had been in contact.

"I'm just trying to play some good footy for the Warriors.

"Whatever happens with that will happen, but at the moment I'm just focused on the Warriors."

The Warriors have held on to win their third consecutive battle as the Tigers are left to reflect on the minor errors that impacted their performance.

It was an unlucky ending for the Tigers as all the calls appeared to be going out of their favour.

There were plenty of opportunities for both teams to score - it even looked like we could've been ready for a golden point clash.

Three minutes left on the clock and the nerves appear to be hitting Tigers coach Benji Marshall.

The Tigers looked to have made a break when they were forced to put a chip up on the last tackle.

Solomona Faataape bolted down the sideline in attempt to sweep up the ball but his toe knocks it forward and it crosses into touch.

The winger immediately put his head in his hands as it is likely one of the final opportunities his team will have at scoring.

"The Tigers have clocked off when it matters most," Warren Smith said on Fox League.

Luke Metcalf does not want his team going into a golden point battle if they don't need to.

The Warriors opted to take a penalty goal from 35 metres out after Tigers star Alex Seyfarth was pinged for a high shot.

To Metcalf's advantage, the rain appears to have stopped for the first time this match.

And he has nailed the kick.

Warriors coach Andrew Webster is not hiding his emotions in Campbelltown.

Leka Halasima punched down the sideline to power almost 80 metres to score, with the young gun brushing off two incoming defensive threats.

The try comes at a crucial time in the battle for the Warriors as his effort could be what was needed to push this game into golden point.

The Tigers are nowhere near done with their try-scoring blitz this evening.

Jahream Bula joined the list of Tigers players who have crossed the line against the Warriors but his efforts are not backed by the referee.

An on-field decision of an obstruction call is upheld by the Bunker, who confirmed Bula did take an advantage and run at the outside shoulder of his opponent.

"They are a different team now," Steve Roach said of the Tigers on Fox League.

"But that (denied try) leaves the door ajar for the Warriors."

It has been a highly intense battle in the final 40 with both teams giving all they can to claim victory.

But Benji Marshall will be eager to confirm the condition of some of his stars, with several seemingly under an injury cloud.

Jarome Luai appeared to hurt his left arm after a heavy tackle with James Fisher-Harris but he is pushing through to help his side.

Lachlan Galvin has gone down in the back of play clutching at his ribs.

It is unclear of the halves pairing is battling stingers or if there is greater concern for the injuries.

It took just one set for tension to officially spill over as a brutal hit between Terrell May and Leka Halasima left referee Wyatt Raymond with no choice but to halt play.

May and Halasima were seen pushing each other after the tackle before Raymond stepped in.

The referee pulled both players along with their skippers over to correct their manner on the field.

He also warned that if the incident is to occur again players can expect to be sitting on the sidelines for 10 minutes.

A little push-and-shove has broken out following a bizarre tackle on Mitch Barnett.

Barnett went charging towards three defenders when he rolled onto the floor over Latu Fainu.

Fainu crouched down in the tackle attempt while his teammates went to grab the chest of Barnett.

The incident did not sit well with the Warriors as players from both teams rushed in to the middle.
