Alyssa started her career as a junior reporter at the Penrith Panthers, spending a season reporting on the club’s men’s and women’s representative pathways programs. She then spent two years working in radio as part of the Nova 96.9 and Smooth 95.3 audience engagement teams, where she was part of the team operating pop-up shows with artists including the Kid Laori, Ricki Lee and Guy Sebastian as well as game-day events with teams like the GWS Giants and Sydney FC. Alyssa then stepped into a role with Nine’s Today Show before joining the Wide World of Sports team in April 2024.
During her time at Wide World of Sports, Alyssa has covered the summer and winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as interviewing the likes of Reece James, Caitlin Foord, John Aloisi and Cate Campbell.
Education
Alyssa completed her Bachelor of Media and Communications at the University of Technology, Sydney in 2024, where she majored in Journalism and Strategic Communication.
