'I'm incredibly upset': Max Gawn lifts lid on 'tricky' situation at Demons after Angus Brayshaw insurance shock
Angus Brayshaw has no bad blood towards Demons players promoting Zurich despite his failed compensation bid with the insurance company, Max Gawn says.
Last week, it was revealed that Brayshaw's bid to receive an insurance payout for a concussion that cut his career short had failed after an independent umpire's review.
The result did not sit lightly with many in the AFL world, with Nick Riewoldt labelling the final result "a disgrace" while Alastair Clarkson said it was "horrifying".

Gawn, who was speaking on Triple M's Mick in the Morning on Tuesday, revealed he had been in contact with his former teammate of nine seasons over the past week since the outcome of his insurance bid was revealed.
The Melbourne skipper said he was left "incredibly upset" with the Brayshaw ruling.
"Angus and I've had a few phone calls this week," he said.

"Look, angry isn't the right word, but I'm incredibly upset that Angus hasn't been successful in his bid to be able to get his insurance money.
"I think that (situation) is something that the AFL has to look into. I think they already are, to be fair, so that is something we want to get covered."
The Herald Sun reported on Saturday that a meeting was held by Demons bosses to discuss any concerns senior players may have had with the Brayshaw case.
In that meeting, club bosses assured players they were supporting Brayshaw.
Gawn confirmed that no kind of protest will be made by the playing group against their club's major sponsor, even though they may not all agree with the result.
"I have Angus' blessing [to continue promoting Zurich]," he said.
"Angus spoke really clearly to me about that.

"He's incredibly upset that he hasn't been able to get his money, but he also sees the bigger picture in this. He sees that he was just unsuccessful.
"The independent umpire has come in and said no. That's not Zurich, that's not Angus, that's an independent umpire that doesn't have a bias."
Gawn added: "It is a tricky situation (with Zurich).
"We want as many answers as we can, and that's what the club's trying to provide for us. So until then, stuff like covering up of sponsor's name - I think that's premature and also would be a little bit like loose from us.
"We haven't got all the details. We are (still) gathering detail from Gus, Zurich and the club.
"It just feels like this is a situation where Angus just lost a compo claim that we wish he got, but technically, probably shouldn't have got it. I don't know, so that's why we're looking into it."
