‘My sister carried my baby’: The late-night call that saved Aimee’s dream of motherhood
“I didn’t feel a second of jealousy, only gratitude that someone I loved would do this for me.”
Experience
Her experience spans television news, print media and public relations.
Tilli began her journalism career at Post Newspapers in Perth, working across multiple rounds including property, crime and general news. Within her second week as an intern, she secured a front-page story and was soon offered a reporting role.
Following this, she worked at Channel 7 in Perth, taking on various roles including assistant producer, autocue operator, and librarian.
She then joined WIN News in Wollongong as a reporter, producer, and presenter. Tilli anchored hourly news updates remotely for northern NSW, covering everything from major flood events to election campaigns and local crime.
Naturally curious, there’s little she doesn’t find interesting – celebrity news, federal politics, local neighbourhood stories, makeup trends, and inflation data alike.
Education
Tilli has a Bachelor of Mass Communication from Curtin University and a Graduate Diploma of Broadcasting from Edith Cowan University.
She is based in Sydney and is always on the hunt for a great story.
