An Australian previously reported missing following devastating flash floods across Nepal and Tibet has been found safe.

Since joining the team in July 2025, Joseph has worked across a wide variety of stories for both the nine.com.au social media and website.
Before becoming part of the Nine team, he was a reporter at Oz Arab Media, providing live and written coverage across Sydney’s south-west with a strong focus on human interest stories and community reporting.
Joseph has covered stories across sport, entertainment and current affairs through both in-studio and on-site interviews. As a freelance journalist, he also reported on local events throughout the region, interviewing a wide range of figures including politicians, Olympians and professional wrestlers.
Education
He studied Communications and Media with a major in Journalism at the University of Wollongong, where he also hosted and produced the university radio station.

In 2025, Joseph was nominated for Mid Western Young Volunteer of the Year for his time as a reporter at Oz Arab Media and coverage of the Canterbury-Bankstown community.
