Princess Eugenie takes on new appointment in support of King Charles

The King's Foundation announced Princess Eugenie, 35, has joined the foundation's "35 under 35" network.

The network brings together a group of "exceptional young people" convened in the 35th anniversary year of the King's Foundation.

The group works to drive change for the future with a focus on sustainability, traditional crafts and arts.

"I'm delighted to be working with this group of exceptional young people who have been selected thanks to their outstanding work in areas The King is passionate about," Princess Eugenie said in a statement.

"Given I recently celebrated my 35th birthday, it's fitting to take part in the charity's 35th anniversary celebrations and share my passion for art with the 35 under 35!"

Eugenie celebrated her 35th birthday on March 23.

The royal is the younger daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson who are also parents to Princess Beatrice, 36.

She joins David Beckham and Rod Stewart who also serve as ambassadors for the King's Foundation.

Also part of the network is designer Dr Samuel Ross MBE, artist and influencer Sophie Tea Art, and historian and online content creator Alice Loxton.

King Charles, 76, launched the charity previously called the Prince's Foundation in 1990 to create improved communities where people, places and the planet can harmoniously coexist.

It was renamed the King's Foundation upon Charles' accession in 2022.

Since its relaunch, it has included young people representing goals for the future.

Upon the announcement of Eugenie's appointment, the royal visited the King's Foundation's exhibition space in London last week where she posed with mentees.

Eugenie works as a director at the art gallery Hauser & Wirth and s also the founder of The Anti-Slavery Collective and supporter of several organizations in conservation, art and health.
