A classic Allen's lolly is getting two new flavours
Allen's has announced a major change to one of its most iconic lollies.
Red Ripperz will now come in two new flavours as part of a remix pack – Crispy Apple and Juicy Grape. The new packs will feature these two flavours only.
Allen's staple Chew Mix will remain on shelves, the company confirms. They feature original Red Ripperz, Sherbies and Milkos.

The distinctive red lolly last underwent a rebrand in 2020, when the name was changed to Red Ripperz.
Since then, this delicious confectionary has remained an Aussie favourite.
Allen's reports early feedback on the new flavours, with customers loving the "chewier" texture.

Nestlé Head of Marketing Confectionery, Shannon Wright said: "Allen's cult classics are cherished by Aussies, so we're bringing a fresh, flavourful and chewy 'remix' to our beloved Ripperz.
"We think Aussies are going to love this fresh new take with its delicious apple and grape flavours."
The Allen's Ripperz Remix featuring Juicy Apple and Intense Grape chew flavours were released in major retailers at the end of May.

Not all supermarkets are currently stocking them so you may need to hunt around for them, and some 7-Eleven outlets have them.
A bag of the new remix costs $5.
This news comes just months after Allen's confirmed the end of Aussie favourite 'teeth' lollies.

9honey Kitchen reached out to confirm this is still the case and were told that while Mad About Teeth packets were discontinued, the treats were still available as part of other packets.
"Allen's Mad About Teeth were available in their own bag for a limited time until last year," a spokesperson explained.
"Allen's Teeth can only be found in the Allen's Retro Party Mix and Classic Party Mix," they said.

"The Allen's team rotate lollies available in their own bag based on consumer demand and requests.
"The latest lolly return is Allen's Peaches & Cream in its own bag," the company spokesperson explained.
Also on the chopping block were Allen's Fantales, which were discontinued in 2023.

So too do Sherbies, although individual bags of Milkos are harder to find. 9Honey
That same year, the confectionary company temporarily ceased production for individual bags of Red Ripperz, Sherbies and Milkos.
However, individual bags of Red Ripperz and Sherbies are back on supermarket shelves.
Individual bags of Milkos are available from some online retailers.
