Iain Armitage
Iain Armitage played a young Sheldon Cooper in the hit series.
Iain Armitage
Armitage was just nine years old when Young Sheldon started, and now he's a fully-fledged teenager at 16.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, the actor is worth around US$6 million (AUD$9.2 million) – in part to his time on Young Sheldon, and also from many other acting roles.
Alongside his time on Young Sheldon Armitage also played Ziggy Chapman in Big Little Lies from 2017 until 2019, voiced young Shaggy Rogers in Scoob! and played Chase in PAW Patrol: The Movie.
He's also remained closed with Jim Parsons, and you can see a recent reunion photo in the next slide...

When two worlds collide!
In May 2024, Armitage went to see the older Sheldon Cooper, Jim Parsons perform in a play in New York City.
Armitage shared a sweet story about his time there, writing on Instagram: "I realised I hadn't dressed well for the chilly NY evening and stopped to get something warmer. There weren't many choices in the immediate area and I didn't have a lot of time before the show, but I managed to find this jacket.
"I realised immediately that I've definitely worn this as Sheldon and I'm pretty sure Jim has too. It looks like I stole this from the wardrobe department. (I didn't!) To recap, this is the last week new episodes are airing and I go out and purchase clothes that Sheldon would wear AND go to see the OG Sheldon himself.
"I guess this might mean that on some level – or every level – I'm going to miss Sheldon and the unique way he views the world. I've learned a lot from him, he's changed my life, and I love him. Even though we have completed filming, it feels pretty good to slip on his jacket every once in a while."
We love to see it!
Iain Armitage and Jim Parsons
The pair united again in October 2024, with Armitage captioning this post: "I know you'll think I'm biased but that's not why I loved seeing Our Town. Yes, @therealjimparsons is excellent and so is the rest of the cast.
"This play is so simple and at the same time so full of depth and meaning. I only had a couple of days in NY but I managed to see this twice and I'm pretty sure I will see it a third time. It's beautiful and perfect."
Montana Jordan
Montana Jordan played Sheldon's older brother, Georgie Cooper.
The young star's breakthrough came when he beat out almost 10,000 others for the role of Jaden in the Jody Hill directed film The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter. At the time Jordan was just 12 years old and had no prior acting experience.

Just when you thought the Coopers were calling it a day, they never are!
In October 2024, Jordan and his Young Sheldon co-star Emily Osment (who you'll see more of later in this gallery) launched the third series in The Big Bang Theory franchise – a direct sequel to and spin-off of Young Sheldon.
Titled Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, the series focuses on young parents Georgie Cooper and Mandy McAllister (Osment) and the first season takes place in 1994.
The duo navigate the challenges of adulthood, parenting, and marriage while raising their young family in Texas.
Montana Jordan and partner
Away from acting, Jordan, 21, had some very exciting news to share earlier this year – he and his partner Jenna Weeks welcomed their first child together!

The little one arrived in May 2024.
"5/21/2024. God has blessed me with a beautiful baby girl," he wrote on Instagram.
"Emma Rae Jordan, Momma and Daddy love you. Forever and always."
Fans rushed to congratulate the pair underneath the post.
Jordan's on-screen brother Iain Armitage sweetly commented on Jenna's post: "She's my perfect, beautiful, gorgeous niece!!"
