It's official – we only have to wait a matter of weeks before another epic spin-off for The Walking Dead hits screens.
Yep, Stan have announced that The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will officially premiere September 11, same day as the US and only on Stan.
It's also been announced that the show has already been renewed for a second season, so we'll be seeing a lot more of Daryl in action in future.

The show will star fan-favourite Norman Reedus as Daryl, as he travels across a broken but resilient France.

This new show is the second of three brand new series from The Walking Dead Universe launching exclusively on Stan, with The Walking Dead: Dead City now streaming and the Untitled Rick and Michonne series coming soon.

What is the plot?
The series follows Daryl Dixon as he washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why.

His sudden arrival raises the ire of leaders within a splintered, but growing autocratic movement centred in Paris, and endangers a young boy at the heart of a benevolent religious movement called the Union of Hope.

Daryl agrees to shepherd the child and his caretakers on their pilgrimage to The Nest, a sanctuary which promises safety, and in return the Union promise to secure him passage back to America.
However, along the way, Daryl will find his steadfast desire to return home complicated by the new connections he forms and the renewed sense of hope these relationships give him.
