Emaciated pup saved and looking for a forever home

When Hugo was dumped at a NSW pound a year ago, he was little more than a living skeleton.

The Rhodesian Ridgeback was just skin and bone, severely emaciated and potentially days from starving to death.

Hugo was left at the overnight kennels in Muswellbrook, and his condition was so bad staff immediately contacted the RSPCA.

But now Hugo is back to full health and is now looking for a forever home.

Hugo is now living at the RSPCA shelter in Yagoona in Sydney.

The RSPCA said Hugo loves human interaction, toys and treats.
