Dad's Faceswap video is the stuff of nightmares

At the end of the first Captain America movie, the titular character awakens from 70 years in a coma in a 1940s-style hospital room, with the intent of easing him into modern life.

If they wanted to do the opposite of that, they would have shown him this video.

Because this faceswap monstrosity is a monstrous example of how far technology has advanced in few short years.

It's the face of a grown man, with a goatee and everything, on the body of his young daughter.

It's shouty, it's bizarre and it's totally unsettling.

And if your idea of entertainment was a night by the wireless, it would absolute terrify you.

It's the latest creation by John Woods, a YouTube filmmaker who documents the conversations he has with his daughter, then superimposes his face on top of hers.

And John does not have a baby face.

Sure, it's funny, but it's also really, really weird.

Almost enough to make you renounce all technology and take to churning butter by hand.
