Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding rumour runs rife as permit filed in New York

As rumours swirl about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, a wild new clue seems to have all but confirmed the exact date and location.
According to The New York Times, a permit has been quietly filed to shut down the streets surrounding Madison Square Garden between July 2 and July 4; the same weekend as their rumoured ceremony.

The wedding is believed to take place on July 3.
The permit, filed by Winick Productions, reportedly asked for the streets around the arena to be closed to make room for a tent to be set up outside the venue, which will include between 500 to 999 guests, according to the publication.
Winick Productions is an event production company which specialises in large-scale special events in New York, according to their LinkedIn page.
Kansas City Chiefs players have also reportedly booked hotels in Midtown, close to the arena, around the date of the wedding, according to Page Six.
Multiple sources told the publication the venue had been locked in for July 3, with guests allegedly sworn to secrecy ahead of the coveted event.
Neither Swift nor Kelce has confirmed the reports.
Speculation surrounding the big day has reached fever pitch in recent weeks as details of the guest list, venue and date continue to be leaked.
The couple got engaged in August last year after nearly two years together, sharing the news with a joint post on Instagram.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the caption read.

The pair’s star-studded wedding guest list could include everyone from Hollywood actors and music industry heavyweights to sporting legends and even royalty.
Swift’s former bestie Karlie Kloss is also reportedly expected to attend, despite years of speculation surrounding the status of their friendship.
The guest list is also rumoured to feature Ed Sheeran, Zoe Kravitz, Selena Gomez, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne and Emma Stone.
Earlier this year, Prince William accidentally let it slip that he was invited.

When asked if he and Catherine, the Princess of Wales, would be attending the couple’s wedding while on Heart Breakfast Radio, Prince William replied with a cheeky “no comment.”
“I’m hoping, and I’m sure there might be an invitation around, but we’ll see,” he added.
Swift and Kelce are rumoured to be tying the knot “before training camp begins” in July, according to ESPN.
