Taylor Swift has shocked fans by dropping a second album two hours after releasing The Tortured Poets Department.

Fans had been speculating Swift would do a double album drop, since she had been dropping lots of 'two' symbolism since making the original announcement at the Grammys in February.

The album is called The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology and includes the original 16 tracks as well as an additional 15 songs.

Possibly the biggest clue came earlier this week, when she announced she would be releasing a music video for one of the songs via a short clip posted to her social media accounts.

In the video viewers were led into The Tortured Poets Department room where there were two desks and two typewriters.

There were also two clocks shown throughout the clip, both pointing to 2am (the time at which the double album was announced on the West Coast of the US), as well as two stars on the whiteboard next to the music video announcement.

Not only that, but Swift also included a sculpture of a hand holding up two fingers at her The Tortured Poets Department Library popup in Los Angeles.

Fans can now rest easy knowing they weren't going mad picking apart all the symbols, and that Swift has indeed dropped a second album.
