Channing Tatum returns to his Magic Mike roots in hilarious Super Bowl commercial

Actor Channing Tatum has gone back to his Magic Mike roots for the new Super Bowl ad titled Hollywood Magic.

The former stripper has teamed up with Hollywood heavyweights Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney for a STōK Cold Brew Coffee commercial, with Tatum visiting their football team, Wrexham AFC, and giving them a lesson in post-goal celebrations.

The hilarious pep-talk doesn't quite go to plan as football jerseys go flying in the air following Tatum's dance demo.

"I promised Ryan and Rob I'd keep it classy, everyone put your clothes back on," he quips.

Tatum, who made an appearance as superhero Gambit in Reynolds' Deadpool & Wolverine film last year, visited Wales and the team with the actor in December and it's thought to be when the ad was filmed.

There are more and more star-studded commercials being released as Sunday's Super Bowl draws closer.

Filled with enough celebrities to rival the half-time show, the clips are a big draw card for the football final and are the most watched – and often most expensive – ads of the year.

Many people find the mini-movie commercials more entertaining than the actual game, including Catherine O'Hara, who is starring in her second-ever Super Bowl ad this year.

While her husband is a fan of one of Sunday's competing sides, Philadelphia Eagles (who will take on the Kansas City Chiefs, featuring Taylor Swift's beau Travis Kelce), O'Hara admits she isn't too interested in the NFL final.

"I think half the people that watch it are watching for the commercials," O'Hara told CNN.

"I'm honoured to be in one."

O'Hara isn't the only big name taking to the small screen this year.

Singer Post Malone is also jumping on the beer train, spruiking Bud Light, while actor Jeff Goldblum is promoting a renting website, actress Issa Rae is talking tax time tips for TurboTax and Doja Cat is trying to buy some Taco Bell.

Let's take a look at some of the biggest 2025 Super Bowl commercials.

Pringles – Adam Brody, Nick Offerman, Andy Reid, James Harden

There's no arguing Nobody Wants This star Adam Brody is having quite the career renaissance.

Now, he's fronting the Super Bowl commercial for Pringles, which shows a bunch of famous mustaches fly off the face of actor Nick Offerman, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and L.A. Clippers' James Harden as they help to deliver him a new box of Pringles when his runs out.

Little Caesars – Eugene Levy and Sarah Levy

Strangely, Pringles aren't the only food ad using flying facial hair in their ad.

Actor Eugene Levy's famous bushy eyebrows fly off his face as he eats Crazy Puffs from the US pizza chain.

As he chews, they fly around town freaking out runners in the park before landing briefly on the hand of his Schitt's Creek co-star, and daughter, Sarah Levy, who makes a cameo in the commercial.

Novartis – Hailee Steinfeld and Wanda Sykes

Actress Hailee Steinfeld and comedian Wanda Sykes, who is a breast cancer survivor, front a more serious commercial that encourages women to check their breasts.

The ad, titled Your Attention, Please, is yet to be released but a teaser clip shows dancers, cheerleaders, fans all shaking their chest before the Pitch Perfect star says: "Let's give breasts the attention they deserve most".

Steinfeld calls the Super Bowl spot a "bucket list" moment in her career.

"I cannot think of one that I could possibly feel more proud and honoured to be apart of than this with Novartis," she told USA Today Sports.

"I'm so excited to know that this is going to be entering so many people's homes. Wherever they may be watching the game from, they are going to see this ad and I'm confident it's going to grab their attention."

Bosch – Antonio Banderas

Actor Antonio Banderas stars alongside an actor playing the late WWE wrestler Randy 'Macho Man' Savage in an ad for the German appliance and power tool brand as it tries to reintroduce itself in the United States.

So far, only two 15-second teasers have been released but it's believed the Big Game Ad will use the slogan "The more you Bosch, the more you feel like a Bosch".

Nestlé Coffee Mate – Shania Twain

Shania Twain lends her voice to the Nestlé Coffee Mate Cold Foam Super Bowl commercial.

The country music superstar sings about how good the foam tastes as a man's tongue dances, plays instruments and even does a flip as it celebrates what the man's just eaten.

His friend watches what's going on in disbelief before joining in the party.

Mountain Dew – Seal and Becky G

Singer Seal is starring in a new Super Bowl commercial as an actual seal.

He even reworked his famous 1994 hit single Kiss from a Rose for the ad, which also stars singer and actress Becky G.

The three-time Grammy-winning song is converted into Kiss from a Lime for the Mountain Dew ad, with the artist also reimagined – singing as a CGI seal on a rock.

MSC Cruises – Drew Barrymore and Orlando Bloom

Drew Barrymore (badly) serenades Orlando Bloom with a rendition of Madonna's Holiday about a cruise ship in one of the three teaser clips released online ahead of the TV spot.

In the other clips, Bloom pushes in front of kids waiting to use the 11-storey shark slide and Barrymore mocks the Pirates of the Caribbean star's British accent in another.

Squarespace – Barry Keoghan

For Barry Keoghan's first Super Bowl commercial, he has a familiar co-star by his side.

The Oscar-winning actor stars alongside a donkey in his ad, just as he did in his critically-acclaimed turn in the 2022 film The Banshees of Inisherin.

Also just like the movie, the commercial – for website-building platform Squarespace – was filmed in his native Ireland.

So what is it about him and donkeys?

"You know what, I don't know, but we have great chemistry in it," he laughed to CNN.

While the donkey may look familiar, Keoghan said it's not the same one from his famous movie.

"It wasn't Jenny the donkey. But it was the same people who handled Jenny," he said.

Häagen-Dazs – Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Ludacris

Fast & Furious co-stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Ludacris re-unite together on screen in a spoof of the famous film franchise for ice-cream brand Häagen-Dazs.

The first look online is titled, Not So Fast, Not So Furious, and plays with the notion of slowing down and savouring every bite of the dessert.

Uber Eats – Matthew McConaughey, Martha Stewart, Charli XCX, Kevin Bacon and Greta Gerwig

Talk about a star-studded commercial!

Uber Eats have a range of spots already doing the rounds online, including Martha Stewart and Charli XCX's 'We Listen & We Don't Judge' clip.

"Honestly Charli, when my agent first sent me your name, I thought it was the WiFi password," Stewart tells the singer.

The Brat performer hits back with equal measure.

"Well, when my agent told me you were doing this, I thought you'd be doing the catering," XCX says to the TV personality.

In another add, Matthew McConaughey and Kevin Bacon pitch a movie to Greta Gerwig about a conspiracy that football was invented to sell food, which sees Stewart and XCX make a cameo too.

Ray-Ban/ Meta – Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt and Kris Jenner

Chris Hemsworth's going from superhero to Super Bowl with a star-studded commercial for Ray Ban and Meta's new AI glasses.

The Thor actor teased his new ad on social media, alongside Chris Pratt and Kris Jenner in a hilarious take on the Kardashian matriarch's fridge, which became a viral sensation.

The ad also pokes fun at the duct-tapped banana art piece, which was auctioned by Sotheby's last year for $US6.2 million (approx. $9.5 million).

The 2025 showing isn't Hemsworth's first foray into Super Bowl commercials, with the Furiosa actor did a Crocodile Dundee spoof for an Australian Tourism spot back in 2022.

Michelob Ultra – Catherine O'Hara and Willem Dafoe

The Schitt's Creek actress, like Hemsworth, also made a brief appearance in a 2022 commercial (for Nissan) and will this year feature in a beer ad alongside Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe.

The duo take on pickleball players – professional and otherwise – in a quest for some Michelob Ultra.

Dunkin' – Ben Affleck, Casey Affleck and Jeremy Strong

Ben Affleck is back for his third Dunkin' commercial at this year's Super Bowl.

For the past two years, his now ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, provided the family member cameo but this year it's brother Casey Affleck's turn.

The two – who originally hail from Boston, Massachusetts – team up with fellow Bostonian, Succession star Jeremy Strong.

They make a mention about their roots reflecting those of the Massachusetts-born company.

Strong shows he doesn't take himself too seriously by poking fun at his knack for method acting, which has been slammed by his co-stars in the past, including Brian Cox and Kieran Culkin.

Stella Artois – Matt Damon and David Beckham

For those wondering why Ben Affleck's best friend Matt Damon isn't making another cameo in his Dunkin' commercial like last year, it's because Damon's got his own to plug.

He's starring alongside David Beckham in the Stella Artois ad, playing Becks's long lost twin brother Dave Beckham.

After finding out he has a twin in America the famous footballer travels in search of him, only to find they have their kick in common... and their taste in beer.

Hellmann – Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal

It's a reunion movie fans have waited 35 years for but more than three decades after the romantic comedy When Harry Met Sally first hit theatres, Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan are finally back together.

Coinciding with the 35th anniversary of their beloved movie, Crystal and Ryan returned to the famed Katz's Deli in New York City – where the floors were still greasy, the commotion was still loud, and, well, the orgasms were still very fake.

Seated together at the exact same table where they originally filmed one of the movie's most famous scenes, Crystal and Ryan recreated that iconic moment from 1989 rom-com for a Hellmann's mayonnaise Super Bowl commercial.
