David Beckham and Liam Gallagher join fans and friends to pay final respects to The Stone Roses' Mani
Liam Gallagher helped carry the coffin of The Stone Roses' legendary bassist Gary "Mani" Mounfield, as the music world gathered to say goodbye at his funeral.
David Beckham, Paul Weller, Gary Neville, Joy Division's Peter Hook and The Happy Monday's Bez were also seen paying their respects to the English musician, who died aged 63 from respiratory issues linked to a lung condition.
Mani died two years after the passing of his wife, Imelda, following a cancer battle.

Mani's funeral took place in his home city of Manchester, with his The Stone Roses bandmates Ian Brown, Reni and John Squire, and Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie also in attendance.
Footballers Beckham and Neville arrived as a sign of respect to Mani, who was a lifelong Manchester United fan.
In emotional scenes, fans lined the streets in their band merchandise while Mani's coffin was draped in a multi-coloured print similar to that of the band's debut album.
The coffin was led by a guard of scooter riders, with The Stone Roses' track I Wanna Be Adored being played during the procession.

Ian Brown said at the ceremony: "Mani was like a brother to me, a musical comrade.
"Beautiful soul and spirit. Mani was able to laugh his way through any darkness. He was the life and soul of any room he was in."
Bobby Gillespie added: "Mani's warm and welcoming manner, treating me like an equal, made me feel like a million dollars, and I'll never forget that.

"No one was too important to escape his laser-eye ability to cut the pretentious and self-important down to size, myself included.
"His ability to make laughter out of any situation was our great value wherever we were in the world.

Mani shot to fame after joining the popular band Stone Roses in the 1980s.
He featured on both of the band's albums before they disbanded in 1996.
He later went on to join the band Primal Scream but returned to the Stone Roses when they reunited in 2011.
