General Hospital star Steve Burton marries partner Michelle Lundstrom just four months after their engagement

General Hospital star Steve Burton has tied the knot with his partner Michelle Lundstrom just four months after they announce their engagement.

The 54-year-old actor married chef and content creator Michelle Lundstrom, 44, over the weekend in a dream California wedding.

Burton told People about the day: "It's the beginning of forever with the love of my life."

The couple confirmed that 45 guests attended the nuptials on Montage Laguna Beach, including Burton's General Hospital co-star Jonathan Jackson and wife Lisa Vultaggio.

Lundstrom's daughters from a previous relationship – Lilah, 14, and Hannah, 10 – were also in attendance, and helped her choose her stunning Lee Petra Grebenau gown.

They joined Burton's three children at the ceremony; daughters Makena, 21, and Brooklyn, 10, and son Jack, 19.

"He's proven that fairy tale love truly exists," Lundstrom told the publication about finding love with the actor.

"He's like pure sunshine – always uplifting, endlessly caring. His love makes me a better person every single day."

Of their decision to marry so quickly after the engagement, the couple said they simply "didn't want to wait".

Prior to finding his love, Burton was previously married to Sheree Gustin for 23 years.

He made the shock announcement that they had split in May 2022 in a post shared to social media.

Fans initially believed Gustin was expecting her fourth child with Burton, which the actor quickly dismissed.

"I wanted to clear something up. Sheree and I are separated," Burton wrote on his Instagram story.

"She recently announced that she's expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine. We are still co-parenting our three beautiful kids.

"We would appreciate privacy at this time. Much luv, Steve."

The divorce was finalised in December 2023, and five months later in May 2024 Burton debuted his relationship with Lundstrom.

He popped the question in Nashville, Tennessee in January 2025 and the couple are now enjoying their honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii.
