Singer Jesy Nelson has announced the birth of her twin girls, who arrived two months early.

The 33-year-old had a complicated pregnancy and has spent a lot of it in hospital, after undergoing emergency surgery in April to save them.

The pop singer, known best for her time in Little Mix, took to social media to confirm the news and announce their names.

"So… Our beautiful baby girls decided to come at 31 weeks plus 5 days," she wrote.

"It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fighting strong! We've never felt more in love.

"Everybody meet Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster. Born on 15.05.2025."

Nelson shares the twins with boyfriend Zion Foster.

The post was flooded with congratulatory messages and well wishes from those who have been following her pregnancy.

While Nelson does have a former bandmate who's name is Jade, it's believed that the middle name is actually a tribute to her sister.

Nelson and Foster announced they were pregnant with twins in January in a cute post on social media.

But the months since have been far from perfect and she's been documenting her complicated pregnancy journey online.

She underwent emergency surgery in early April and it worked, confirming that the TTTS had "cleared up" in another update with her followers.

"We just wanted to come on here because we are another week further along and we feel so grateful and blessed that these little babies are still going strong," she said at the time.

"And we just wanted to also thank you so much for all your support and beautiful messages.

"You guys have been so lovely. We've seen all of your lovely messages and stories, and it's just really helped us keep going. So we just wanted to say thank you for that. And yeah, we're still in here [at the hospital], going strong."

Nelson and Foster have been dating since January 2022.
