Sharon Osbourne asks court to remove executor of late husband Ozzy’s $187 million fortune
Sharon Osbourne has filed to remove her late husband Ozzy Osbourne’s long-time accountant as an executor of his will.
The Black Sabbath rocker’s widow, 73, lodged documents against Colin Newman with the English High Court, The Sun reported.

Sharon is joined by two other executors, her niece, Georgina Maszlin, and her assistant, Melinda Varga, in requesting Newman’s removal.
The reason for the trio’s filing is unknown.
The move comes more than a year after Ozzy died in July 2025 aged 76.
He left behind an estimated £100 million ($187 million) fortune.
Newman has a long history with the Osbournes, meeting Sharon when he worked as a junior accountant for her music manager father, Don Arden.
He became the couple’s accountant before they married in 1982 and has been intertwined in their business ever since.
He was credited on several of Ozzy’s albums and acted as Sharon’s literary agent.
Newman also served as director of Ozzy’s UK company, Monowise, before stepping down in April.
Sharon joined the company as director in December, according to the UK’s Companies House directory.

Ozzy died of a heart attack just weeks after his farewell gig in his home city of Birmingham.
He also had coronary artery disease in addition to suffering from Parkinson’s disease for years, his death certificate said.
In July, to mark the first anniversary of his death, Sharon revealed her husband had known he was dying.
“He was told two weeks before the show that he was dying, and they said, ‘Don’t do the show’. He said, ‘Yeah, right. Get out of here,’” she told Forging Metal podcast host Ed James and a live audience in a local pub.
The widow called it “a gift” for her husband to be able to do the concert and witness the love from fans, rather than it be a memorial sort of show after he died.
“His greatest love affair was with the audience and that’s the way he wanted to go out,” Sharon said.
“Just one more time and he got to do that – and he smashed it.”

Sharon said the concert left Ozzy riding on an absolute high for his final two weeks, after being “so down, so depressed because he knew it was the end”.
“[It] was the happiest I had ever seen him,” she said.
“It was just so great to see him every day smiling.”
