Once owned by the Da Ya Think I’m Sexy? hit maker, the supercar was instantly snatched up by Australian businessman and media personality Darryn Lyons.

Lyons had purchased the supercar from a specialist dealer in England after Stewart had only just dropped off the vehicle.

The Grammy winner has owned at least seven to eight Lamborghini models in his time, with Lyons regarding the car as one of his “most treasured possessions” in his collection.

Despite numerous offers over the years, Lyons said had never previously been willing to sell it, until now.

“As a small boy, I dreamed of one day owning and driving a car like this, so when it goes, there will absolutely be a tear,” said the Aussie businessman in a release.

“It has given me a huge amount of fun over the years, and, in my view, it remains one of the greatest cars ever built.”

Stewart’s former supercar will be auctioned online through Lloyds Auctions as part of The Darryn Lyons Collection.

Fans of the singer would know this isn’t the first Lamborghini Stewart has owned.

The star is known for his famous collection of classic and luxury Italian supercars, including his most expensive purchase, a 2023 Ferrari LaFerrari valued at about $6.3 million.

In late 2024, Stewart joked that he was considering selling off several of his sports car due to severe potholes near his Essex mansion.

“I am extremely fortunate and eternally grateful to be the owner of these five beautiful hybrid sports cars, which, in my opinion, are true ‘works of art’,” he wrote alongside a photo with his collection.

“Unfortunately, because of the potholes on our roads, I may have to find new owners for them. I’ve been driving these iconic Italian cars since the seventies, and I absolutely love and adore them.”

In April 2025, the singer posted a throwback photo from 1971 posing with his Lamborghini Miura in the UK.

He then posted a recent photo from inside his Ferrari with the caption: “Then and now... Some things never change.”
