Rod Stewart was forced to pause mid-concert to use an oxygen tank after nearly fainting on stage
As per a video obtained by TMZ, the 81-year-old could be seen doubling over in pain during his concert in Utah last night, grabbing onto surrounding instruments to stay upright as he finished the song.

He then waited for staff to bring an oxygen tank onto the side of the stage and took a few deep breaths from it before returning to centre stage and addressing the crowd.
“The show must go on,” he said, as he informed them that he “nearly f–-king fainted” as he tried to do a little dance, continuing to crack lighthearted jokes with them.
The rocker asked his fans if he could sit down on the stairs as he sang, doing so through many numbers. He finished the show while sitting in a chair.
It’s not the first time his tour has been marred by his health issues.
Earlier in the month, the singer announced that a number of his residency performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas were being rescheduled as he recovered from the flu.
He then cancelled four shows of his One Last Time tour and postponed two more in Nevada and California the following week.
He even drew some criticism after cancelling his concert in California last week due to health reasons, only to share photos of himself getting on a plane to watch the Scotland World Cup game in Boston just hours later.
At the time, Stewart’s team shared a statement on his Instagram Stories that clarified, “on the advice of his doctors and following a diagnosis of an acute upper respiratory infection that has resulted in laryngitis, he is unable to take the stage this evening.”

Stewart himself added to the statement less than an hour before the show was to start.
“Following treatment, I’m feeling much better, but my voice is not,” he said.
“I’m very disappointed and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to my fans. I did everything I could to make the show happen tonight.”
