TV chef appears to split from wife, announces pregnancy with new girlfriend

Jack Stein, son of UK celebrity chef Rick Stein, appears to have quietly split from his wife of four years and is now expecting a baby with his new girlfriend.
The 43-year-old, who is also a TV chef and cookbook author, shared the news to Instagram over the weekend, revealing he is expecting his first child with new partner Sophie.

“One more at the table. April 2027,” the already dad-of-two captioned a photo of the couple against a sea cliff background.
His new partner is seen holding a sonogram while the pair posed with their beloved pet pooch.
Jack has seemingly moved on from wife Lucy, who he married in 2022. At the time of writing, the exes have not publicly acknowledged their separation.
The exes share two children together; a son Milo and daughter Arlo.
Friends and fans rushed to the comments section of the announcement to congratulate the new couple.
“Ahhh huge congratulations,” wrote TV personality Maura Higgins.
“OH. MY GOD. I’m soooooooooooo happy for you guys 🥲 this is so wonderful. Congratulations lovely lovely people,” said The Only Way Is Essex star Jessica Wright.

English TV and radio host Lisa Snowdon shared a number of heart emojis.
Jack is the middle child of British celebrity chef Rick Stein and first wife Jill Stein, who he was married to for 22 years.
Rick and Jill split in 2002 after Rick’s secret five-year affair with Australian publicist Sarah Burns.

After his divorce in 2003, Rick and Sarah married in October 2011.
The restaurateur and world-renowned chef runs three restaurants in Australia with locations in Mollymook, Port Stephens and Coogee Beach in NSW.
