NRL star Jai Arrow marries Berina Colakovic in intimate Sicily wedding
South Sydney Rabbitohs player Jai Arrow and wife Berina Colakovic have tied the knot a second time in an intimate ceremony at Borgo del Carato in Sicily.
The couple’s celebrations have spanned from Sydney to Italy, with Arrow and Colakovic first marrying in a civil ceremony in Sydney in July. Their Italian nuptials mark a return to the city where Arrow proposed in 2024.

In the two years since Arrow popped the question, their lives has changed in ways they could never have imagined.
In 2025 they welcomed their daughter, Ayla Rae Arrow. Then, in May this year, Arrow announced his retirement from rugby league after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
Arrow and Colakovic said “I do” in Borgo del Carato, a restored 19th-century farmhouse set over 90 hectares, on Saturday, October 10.
“Sicily has this beautiful, almost timeless romance to it, and Borgo del Carato felt like somewhere we could completely escape the rest of the world,” Colakovic told Vogue.
They celebrated with 65 guests who had travelled from across the globe, including from Australia and Canada, where Colakovic is originally from.
The party kicked off the night before the wedding with an all-black Mafia-themed rehearsal dinner. Colakovic wore a Hera Couture corset with a custom Hera skirt from Aura Bridal.
On the official wedding day, she wore a strapless wedding gown designed by Corston Couture with a lace veil and Christian Dior heels.
She kept her hair and makeup minimal and pared back her jewellery, wearing a pearl necklace gifted to her by her mum that she promises to pass down to her and Arrow’s daughter one day.

Colakovic saved her most dramatic look for the reception dinner where she stepped out in a halterneck sequin number by Sydney label Dio Official.
In the lead up to the wedding day, Sicily’s south-east coast was struck with storms but as luck would have it the weather cleared in time for the special day.
Colakovic recalled countless special moments from the October wedding but said the most meaningful part was simply being there together after all the challenges they’ve endured.
“Our lives have changed enormously over the past two years. We’ve become parents, navigated incredible highs and faced challenges we never could have anticipated,” Colakovic said.
“It was one of those rare moments when you wish you could stop time,” she said of the day.
The couple extended their European travels with a honeymoon at the Mandarin Oriental in Bodrum, Turkey.
