Nicole Kidman's six-word quip about Tom Cruise divorce goes viral amid her split from Keith Urban
Nicole Kidman might be making headlines for her divorce from rocker Keith Urban.
But it's not the first marriage breakdown she's had to endure in the public eye.
The Eyes Wide Shut star, 58, previously split from ex-husband and fellow Hollywood star Tom Cruise – and once had a hilarious six-word response when being asked about their split.

At the time, the Australian icon proved she was still in high spirits as she showed off her sense of humour while appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman.
Her response is now going viral again in the wake of split reports from Urban.
"I heard you're getting divorced, how's that going?" she was asked.

The comment was made in reference to the infamous height difference her and ex-husband Cruise, now 63, shared.
The former couple were married from 1990 to 2001, and her TV appearance was after their split that same year.

Now, her personal life has been thrown into the spotlight once again with reports of her split from husband of 19 years, rocker Keith Urban.
People confirmed on Tuesday the sad news that the pair have separated after 19 years of marriage, with a source telling the publication that "[Kidman] she didn't want this. She has been fighting to save the marriage."
TMZ first broke the news of their reported split, with sources claiming they have been living apart recently.
It's been reported Urban moved out of the family home in Nashville, with Kidman and their daughters remaining.
Page Six revealed Kidman has filed for divorce from the musician, citing "irreconcilable differences", per court documents.
She also reportedly wants to be the "primary residential parent" of their daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
Urban and Kidman, 58, were last seen together publicly before the news broke at a sports match in Nashville, Tennessee, in late June 2025.
Urban meanwhile, who is currently on tour, has just been pictured for the first time since Kidman filed for divorce, without his wedding ring.
