In interesting news, Liz Hurley is learning rap to impress her 16-year-old son

Liz Hurley isn't a regular mom. She's a cool mom.

She refers to her 16-year-old son Damian as her "soulmate" and has previously admitted to wearing his clothes, which is interesting.

Her next trick? Rap.

"I have decided to teach myself [Luis Fonsi's] 'Despacito' in Spanish," Liz, 53, revealed on the Is It Just Me podcast on Tuesday. "I like doing the rap bit in the middle. That is my favourite bit… Pathetic, isn't it? I am a hidden rap artist."

In a bid to remain ~cool~ in the eyes of Damian, she's started listening to some of the songs he likes.

"There is plenty we have in common...ish," she revealed. "Then I get favourite songs that I like for a really long time, and he says it is because I am middle-aged.

"When it was hip to like 'Despacito', of course, I had never heard of it. But a year later, when Mummy is singing along, he is like: 'Oh no. All middle-aged women love that song this year.'"

"I learned all the rap of 'I Want to be a Billionaire' [by Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars]," she admitted, though we won't see any videos on Instagram for fear of embarrassing Damian. "He'll leave home, I think."

Earlier this month, Liz told You magazine that she and Damian share clothes.

"I tend to wear Damian's cast-offs," she said. "His 14-15-year-old trackie bottoms fit me perfectly."

Liz and Damian have always been close and she's admitted he sometimes takes her bikini snaps for Instagram.

When she was a guest on Watch What Happens Live earlier this year, Liz explained, "When we're on holiday together, sure he'll take some pictures. And, you know, he's got a really good eye and he's studying photography."

But she said any suggestion that it was "silly" or inappropriate was "ridiculous".
